On January 14, two 4th grade classes were guests of the SFB1552 in the laboratories of AK Seiffert. In two groups, the pupils were introduced to basic chemical phenomena such as capillary forces, crystallization heat or the indicator effect of red cabbage juice. At the end, each student made their own lava lamp, which they could then take home with them. We would like to thank the very interested and committed pupils and their teachers and hope that they will find their way into science.
