It is a one-day event at JGU, where the role of sustainability in everyday research will be examined from many perspectives. We have speakers from a wide variety of fields, such as a lab manager of a sustainably certified lab and a coordinator of sustainability certificates, who will shed light on the scientists’ side, as well as representatives of the university, the JCF and the DFG, who will give an overview of external framework conditions and sustainability in funding programs.

With the symposium, we want to raise awareness of sustainability in everyday laboratory life, but also in funding programs, and show ways in which everyone can contribute to a more sustainable future.
